In honour of South Asian Heritage Month, we're bringing you an exploration of yoga's original roots and traditions. In this event, open to all abilities and experience levels, you will enjoy an authentic yoga session with Ravi Dixit and learn more about the grounding benefits of incorporating traditional practice into your modern-day routine. Afterwards, join us for a screening of two short films by South Asian filmmakers, and a discussion led by Misha Hassan over Indian snacks and sweets.
Whether you're a seasoned yogi or just starting out, come as you are! This event is perfect for anyone looking to deepen their practice and find a sense of grounding in their daily lives.
As an East and Southeast Asian (ESEA) community group with a focus on mental health, we are excited to celebrate South Asian communities and the practice of yoga through this event.
